EPP Auditor Opportunity

JOB SUMMARY: In the customers home the EPP Auditors will meter all electric appliances and log information into the computer, review the data, and have customers sign-off on measures in order to provide program benefits. The EPP auditor will also replace all light bulbs with energy-efficient LED bulbs.

EXPECTATION: To learn and become proficient in ALL Home Energy Services Program, and energy conservation methods. 

JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Completing consumption analysis
  • Analyzing home and heating appliances using appropriate technical tools
  • Providing customer education, providing dialogue of helpful energy tips
  • Encouraging lifestyle changes
  • Provide electrical energy data for refrigerator and/or freezer
  • Perform other related duties required within the general occupational series and responsibility level

SKILL SET REQUIRED: The EPP auditor must have…

  • Excellent math skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Must demonstrate the ability to conduct testing on electric appliances
  • Must have the ability to write specifications as required by the program
  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Excellent customer service, professional demeanor at all times
  • Must have strong organizational skills

TRAINING REQUIRED: Training is in Athens OH, 3.5 days; All travel per diems and lodging are paid for by the MYCAP program. Coaching and training with an experienced EPP auditor will be provided on-site.

Contractual work as needed - set your own hours Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
