EPP Auditor Opportunity
JOB SUMMARY: In the customers home the EPP Auditors will meter all electric appliances and log information into the computer, review the data, and have customers sign-off on measures in order to provide program benefits. The EPP auditor will also replace all light bulbs with energy-efficient LED bulbs.
EXPECTATION: To learn and become proficient in ALL Home Energy Services Program, and energy conservation methods.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Completing consumption analysis
- Analyzing home and heating appliances using appropriate technical tools
- Providing customer education, providing dialogue of helpful energy tips
- Encouraging lifestyle changes
- Provide electrical energy data for refrigerator and/or freezer
- Perform other related duties required within the general occupational series and responsibility level
SKILL SET REQUIRED: The EPP auditor must have…
- Excellent math skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Must demonstrate the ability to conduct testing on electric appliances
- Must have the ability to write specifications as required by the program
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Must be detail-oriented
- Excellent customer service, professional demeanor at all times
- Must have strong organizational skills
TRAINING REQUIRED: Training is in Athens OH, 3.5 days; All travel per diems and lodging are paid for by the MYCAP program. Coaching and training with an experienced EPP auditor will be provided on-site.
Contractual work as needed - set your own hours Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
