MYCAP - Mahoning Youngstown Community Action Partnership - once known as Youngstown Area Community Action Agency is a non-profit organization incorporated by the state of Ohio in 1965. It was established for the express purpose of mobilizing and utilizing resources to increase the quality of life for low-income residents of Mahoning County.
MYCAP's Mission is to work with stakeholders, families and individuals to sustain and foster opportunities for a quality of life for everyone that reflects the values and opportunities of our city and county through job development, housing, education and services that promote less dependency and more self-sufficiency.
MYCAP's Vision is to implement, coordinate and deliver quality programs and services providing ways to overcome barriers of social and economic poverty for moderate to low-income individuals, children and families throughout Youngstown and Mahoning County.
